| IVC cageis composed of four parts:
Plastic cage body,cage cover,
stainless steel lid and drinking bottle. |
Laboratory animal cages selection criteria: non-toxic, anti-bite, Free-resistance to acid corrosion and high temperature sterilization.
Cage ,materials: Polycarbonate (PC),Polysulphone (PSU), Polyetherimide (PEI)
Cages sterilization method: High pressure steam sterilization and pharmaceutical sterilization; the appropriate sterilization methods should be take based on the characteristics of the cage material, to reduce damage to the cages. And extend the life of cage and maintain transparency;
IVC cages sterilization method: It is recommended to take the drug sterilization and autoclaving sterilization interchangeably, that is 4-5 times drug sterilization and one autoclaving sterilization;
Recommended Drug sterilization method: using 0.5% concentration of per acetic acid for the disinfection of IVC cages;
Recommended autoclaving sterilization method:121℃30min |
